The Jobs4Blue Story

In 1998, Guy DiMemmo founded VCS Software with the launch of the Police Officer Scheduling System (POSS), the very first computerized system for police scheduling. POSS was developed in conjunction with police to guarantee that it could meet the needs of departments with even the most complex schedules possible.

In 2017, VCS further leveraged our expertise in police scheduling with the launch of the Jobs4Blue off-duty scheduling service. Available in both fully managed and self-managed options, Jobs4Blue gives police departments access to robust AI-powered technology to manage their off duty employment, as well as a team of experts ready to fill and bill side jobs 24/7.

As of 2025, more than 4 million jobs have been scheduled through the service.
